Everything Jonathan

Jonathan is not a computer programer, but he’s learning. He has a working knowledge of html and css, and he is somewhat skilled with Flash, the Google Maps API and Caspio (database service).

He took a 400-level Flash class at Michigan State, and managed to come out with a good knowledge of animation, but only a basic grasp of actionscript.

Flash animation

• MLive.com presidential polls widget (right rail): A simple flash movie that loads poll numbers from an external xml file.

Caspio

• Gas cost calculator: Calculates yearly gas costs based on user-submitted data. Simple java used.

• State bridge inspections database: A search-and-report database featuring Google-mapped results.
